Movie theater

It felt like we were kids again. The excitement for a yummy popcorn and the feel of how it was 30+ years ago. This was a great date night with the perfect atmosphere. I can't wait to take my son's there and show them how Dad used to watch movies. Thank you for what you are doing here. It has an effect on people.

Wanted to Thank the person with a nose piercing and purple hair, and Daniel the manager.My boyfriend and I went to see Avatar 2 but 30 minutes into the movie I had to leave due to food poisoning.My boyfriend was really looking forward to the movie and I felt extremely bad for having to make us leave.Luckily Daniel was so nice and gave us complimentary tickets to be able to come back and see the movie fully.The person with Purple hair checked on me and tried to make my time in the washroom being sick as comfortable as possible by handing me bags to be sick in, and offering me water. (I regret not getting their name)The staff is amazing and I will be coming back to this theatre from now on, I truly appreciate their kindness.

Nearby to me. Their prices are expensive, but so are the other ones. Their screens are ok, seat are not too old and tired. Their english selection is pretty limited, however. It is just one day of the week and not all movies are available in english that day. Marvel and Star Wars movies were not available in english at some time, for example.

Beautiful old theatre, friendly staff! The memorabilia in the lobby is fantastic.

Avoid looking at the seats, especially when you have your cell phone light on looking for the seat number.If you accidentally look at the seats you might end up vomiting or be restless during the whole film about how nasty they are.

True gem of a movie theatre. Great snacks especially their damn fine corn. It has an old school feel once you’re seated. If you’re a movie aficionado, be sure to visit. It’s located on the UVic campus across the bus loop and the bookstore.

Not to bad, the seats aren't as comfortable as the new places with recliners but still pretty decent. The prices of popcorn and drinks continue to be astronomical but that is fairly common in this industry. The bathrooms were busy so I understand the state of disarray. The staff friendly, I can appreciate the in- store gaming area when you buy tickets and wait to go on, or if you feel the night isn't over quite yet and you let the kids continue to play for a while.

Great experience, but prices are SKY-HIGH for food/snacks. As expected these days from any theatre.
